The 1975’s 2016 tour to include SDSU show
The 1975 will embark on a two-month fall concert tour that will see the English rock band perform in the U.S., Canada and — for the first time in its career — Mexico.

The tour opens Oct. 1 in Queens, N.Y., concludes Nov. 26 in Dallas and includes an Oct, 15 San Diego performance at CalCoast Credit Union Open Air Theatre. All tour dates appear below.
The 1975’s latest tour is in support of the quartet’s second album, this year’s chart-topping “I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it” (which, sadly, is seldom referred to by its acronym, “ILIWYSFYASBYSUOI”).
Tickets for all tour dates go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. to the general public. Tickets for the Oct. 15 San Diego show are priced at $49.95 each, plus service charges, and will be available at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000.
A pre-sale for 1975 fan club members begins Wednesday. Three other pre-sales begin Thursday. The Ticketmaster link above includes all pre-sale times for the San Diego show.
Launched in Manchester, The 1975 released its debut album in 2013, followed by 2016’s “ILIWYSFYASBYSUOI.” The band performed at the Coachella festival in Indio in 2014 and again this April.
