Strong rip currents to continue along coast

Share

Waves will only be in the 2-3 foot range along the San Diego County coastline this week. But the surf will be strong enough to continue producing strong rip currents. Some beaches might get a small pulse of energy in the Tuesday-Wednesday time range from Tropical Storm Frank, which is swirling off Baja California. It doesn’t appear that Hurricane Georgette will generate waves in Southern California. Sea surface temperatures are in the 70-73 degree range.
