Man stabbed in Clairemont

A 30-year-old man was stabbed early Saturday morning in Clairemont while standing on the street, San Diego police said. His attacker remains at large.

The assailant, in his 30’s, stabbed the man in the left collar bone with an unknown weapon and then took off on foot toward Genesee Avenue. The incident took place shortly after 2 a.m. at New Haven Road, near Appleton Street.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were described as not life threatening. The San Diego Police Department’s northern division detectives are investigating the stabbing.
