A small plane crashed at the Ramona Airport Saturday morning, leaving the pilot with only minor cuts, authorities said.

The two-seater crashed near the Cal Fire helicopter landing pad at the airport just after 10 a.m., sheriff’s officials said. The 56-year-old pilot, who was alone in the plane, walked away from the crash, and no one was injured on the ground.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
