Following are upcoming meeting schedules for local government agencies:

CITY COUNCILS

CARLSBAD

The Carlsbad City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive. Agenda items include: consider approval of a resolution reappointing Jason Hansen and Jodi Rudick Stein to the Parks and Recreation Commission; consider approval of a resolution appointing Patrick Goyarts to the Parks and Recreation Commission; conduct a hearing and consider introduction of an ordinance approving a zone change from One-Family Residential to Residential Density Multiple for a 0.38-acre parcel at 438 Tamarack Ave.; and consider approval of a resolution declaring its intention to initiate a zoning ordinance amendment to allow indoor shooting ranges in the Planned Industrial Zone with the approval of a conditional use permit and subject to other appropriate use regulations, such as operational standards and distance buffers.

ESCONDIDO

The Escondido City Council will meet at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Council Chambers, 201 N. Broadway. Agenda items include: consider approval of a lease agreement with Patio Playhouse Inc. at the Kit Carson Park Amphitheater; consider approval of the acquisition of the rights-of-way needed for the East Valley Parkway/Valley Center Road Project; consider authorizing HealthRIGHT 360 to assume the affordable housing loans made to North County Serenity House in order to continue operation of Serenity Village at 643, 637, 627, and 619 E. Second Ave. as a transitional housing facility; consider approval of budget adjustments totaling $685,450 for park improvement projects in conjunction with the award of Program Year 2014 Housing Related Parks Program funds from the Department of Housing and Community Development; consider approval of an amendment to the municipal code permitting no more than three members of the Planning Commission to reside outside city limits so long as the residence is within the geographic area covered by the city’s general plan; consider adoption of a resolution approving pass-through of any future penalties imposed by the San Diego County Water Authority for delivery of agricultural water in excess of delivery limits imposed on customers participating in the Transitional Special Agricultural Water Rate and the Special Agricultural Water Rate; consider ratification of the mayor’s appointment to fill an unscheduled vacancy on the Public Art Commission; a report on the city’s “Working Together to Get to YES!” program; and consider approval of a 10-year Energy Service Contract with Green Charge Networks to install and maintain a battery-powered energy storage system to reduce the demand charge at multiple city facilities.

OCEANSIDE

The Oceanside City Council will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Council Chambers, 300 N. Coast Highway. Agenda items include: consider approval of an application to the California Home Finance Authority to permit the provision of the Property Assessed Clean Energy Program in the city; consider adoption of a resolution authorizing a re-designation application for the North San Diego County Recycling Market Development Zone, expanding the boundaries to include Encinitas, Santee and previously excluded areas of North County; consider approval of the phase two final map for the One Mission Avenue / CityMark five-block redevelopment project; consider approval of a substantial amendment to the 2015-20 Consolidated Plan reallocating $99,070 in CDBG funds for the second-floor deck repair and replacement at Libby Lake Resource Center; consider approval of the modification of residential parking standards within portions of the Coastal Zone outside the Downtown District requiring additional off-street spaces and establishing a 20 percent guest parking requirement for apartment and condominium projects exceeding four units; consider adoption of resolutions certifying environmental reports and approving general plan amendments related to Villa Storia; and consider adoption of an ordinance adding Article 40 of the 1986 Oceanside Zoning Ordinance (Affordable Housing Density Bonus) with modifications suggested by the Coastal Commission.

POWAY

The Poway City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Council Chambers, 13325 Civic Center Drive. Agenda items include: a presentation by the San Diego Association of Governments on the Integrated Corridor Management Project; consider approval of an agreement with JKA Architecture for the Swim Center Mechanical System Upgrades and Deck Design Services Project; consider adoption of an interim ordinance adopted as an urgency measure to establish a moratorium on the use of unmanned aircraft systems in certain areas of the city; consider introduction of an ordinance adding a chapter to the municipal code to provide an expedited, streamlined permit process for small, residential rooftop solar systems; a report on the schematic design for the Mickey Cafagna Community Center, and selection of an option; a first-year report on the Amateur Radio Antenna Standards; and consider adoption of a resolution amending the Landscape and Irrigation Design Manual pertaining to defensible space.

SCHOOL DISTRICTS

DEL MAR

The Del Mar Union School District board will conduct a site visitation at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Carmel Del Mar School, 12345 Carmel Park Drive, San Diego.

SAN DIEGUITO

The San Dieguito Union High School District board will hold a workshop at 6 p.m. Monday at Carmel Valley Middle School Performing Arts Center, 3800 Mykonos Lane, San Diego. Agenda items include: high school enrollment presentation and discussion. The regular meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the district office, 710 Encinitas Blvd. Agenda items include: consider approval of an agreement with Patrol Masters to provide crossing guard services at Oak Crest Middle School from Aug. 25 until the completion of a district street project involving Balour Drive at the rate of $34.25 per hour per crossing guard; consider approval of an agreement with Hofman Planning & Engineering to provide environmental consulting services for projects districtwide from through Sept. 4, 2016, on a time and materials basis; consider approval of an agreement with Erickson-Hall Construction Co. to provide construction management services for the San Dieguito High School Academy Math & Science Building Project through completion in the amount of $1.3 million plus construction management fee of 2.94 percent of trade package value; consider approval of an amendment to the superintendent’s employment contract through June 30, 2018; and information on a request to educate elementary students.
