Armed intruder attacks Lake Murray residents

Share

An intruder armed with a gun, knife and baton attacked two people inside the enclosed porch of their Lake Murray home Friday night, San Diego police said.

The 41-year-old suspect, clad in black, knocked down the side gate at the home on Lake Kathleen Avenue about 7:45 p.m. and confronted the first victim while he watched television on the porch, police said. The man pointed his gun at the victim, yelling and threatening him. The assailant then swung the knife around and cut the man on the finger and forearm, police said.

The intruder then put the knife away, pulled out an expandable baton and hit the victim on the shoulder. The attacker spun around and struck a second victim on the head with the baton before running away.
