Photos help catch suspected bank robber
RAMONA —
A man suspected of robbing a Ramona bank Thursday was arrested after at least one tipster recognized his photo captured from surveillance cameras, the FBI said Saturday.
Sheriff’s deputies and FBI agents arrested Timothy Graham, 64, Friday morning on Hanson Lane in Ramona.
He is suspected of robbing the Bank of America on Main Street, where he used a demand note and displayed the handle of a handgun stuck in his waistband, authorities said. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The FBI sent out photos of the robbery to be disseminated by the media, and several tipsters called Crime Stoppers providing leads in the case, the FBI said.
