Annual Balboa Park Turtle & Tortoise Show & Plant Sale

Visitors can learn about turtle and tortoise care and adoption at the annual show, which features turtles (aquatic reptiles) along with tortoises (their land-dwelling counterparts.)
The program includes an exhibit of rare and endangered turtle and tortoise species, on-site adoptions and the sale of plants and other gift items. It features a water turtle pond, giant tortoises and more. Proceeds benefit the turtles and tortoises. Guests can check out animals available for adoption and purchase plants, t-shirts and other turtle and tortoise-themed gifts.
