CRSSD Festival announces 2016 dates
CRSSD Festival has announced dates for its third music festival installment taking place in 2016.
The two-day outdoor music fest at Waterfront Park San Diego will be be held March 5-6.
The 21-and-up festival has yet to release a lineup, but tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Dec. 15, at noon.
CRSSD Festival debuted to resounding success in March of this year with top house and electronic DJs like Lee Burridge and Jamie Jones headlining. Rather than wait an entire year, the brains behind FNGRS CRSSD decided to throw it again in the fall, although hot San Diego temperatures were still high throughout the October weekend.
Between the first and second installments, changes were made to improve the overall festival experience and expand upon the lineup. While the first lineup mostly brought together renowned deep-house DJs, the second added live indie and rock bands to the mix such as The Flaming Lips, TV on the Radio, Banks, St. Lucia, plus generation-spanning disco legend Giorgio Moroder.
