Man wounded in City Heights shooting
CITY HEIGHTS —
A 25-year-old man was wounded Sunday afternoon during a shooting in City Heights, police said.
The man was in an alley off Highland Avenue near Landis Street just before 4 p.m. when he was approached by two male suspects, said San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired, hitting the man three times in one of his legs.
His wounds were not considered life threatening, Delimitros said. After the shooting, the two suspects ran off.
The San Diego Police Department’s Mid-City Division is investigating the incident.
