Pedestrian critically injured in crash
SAN DIEGO —
A pedestrian suffered a life-threatening head injury when he was struck by a vehicle in City Heights Saturday morning, San Diego police said.
The driver of a Toyota Rav 4 turned east onto El Cajon Boulevard from Altadena Avenue about 10 a.m. and struck the man crossing the street, police said. The 59-year-old pedestrian was taken to a hospital.
The 27-year-old man driving was questioned by police.
