Following are upcoming meeting schedules for local government agencies:

CITY COUNCILS

CARLSBAD

The Carlsbad City Council will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive. Agenda items include: consider approval of a resolution authorizing the city to enter an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Agency for operation of the Narcotics Task Force for fiscal 2016; consider approval of a resolution accepting a bid and authorizing an agreement with Patrol Masters Private Security for adult school crossing guard services; consider approval of an addendum to the memorandum of understanding with the cities of Escondido, Oceanside, San Marcos, and Vista for implementing the North County Economic Development Collaborative Model; consider adoption of an ordinance adding to the municipal code to set procedures for the establishment of a reimbursement fee for funding the reimbursement of certain costs of construction of eligible improvements; consider adoption of an ordinance to grant a zone change from Limited Control to Open Space for three parcels on a 17.44-acre site of the intersection of College Boulevard and Sunny Creek Road and south of the intersection of Cannon Road and College Boulevard; and receive the Elections Code Section 9212 report for the Agua Hedionda South Shore Specific Plan Initiative Measure and consider three options for action.

DEL MAR

The Del Mar City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Del Mar Communications Center, 240 10th St.

ENCINITAS

The Encinitas City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Council Chambers, 505 S. Vulcan Ave. Agenda items include: a presentation of CivicSpark Program Activities from North Coast Connected; consider approval of an amendment to the Regional Transportation Improvement Program; consider approval of a $526,506 plus 15 percent contingencies contract with Nuline Technologies to construct the Annual Storm Drain Rehabilitation/Repair 2015-2016 project for a total contract amount not to exceed $605,482; consider approval of the issuance of 2015 Encinitas Public Financing Authority Lease Revenue Bonds Series A for the purpose of fully refunding the 2006 Encinitas Public Financing Authority Lease Revenue Bonds Series A; conduct a hearing and consider introduction of an ordinance that proposes changes to the city’s density bonus ordinance to implement California density bonus law, which would amend the city’s Zoning Ordinance and Local Coastal Program; consider reconsideration of actions taken July 16 relating to the application and/or interpretation of the city’s policies and state density bonus law; conducted a hearing and consider introduction of an ordinance that proposes changes to the city’s inclusionary housing regulations to better address the need for affordable units reserved in new development projects, which would amend the city’s Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance and Local Coastal Program; conduct a hearing regarding on and consider introduction of an ordinance to consider a Zoning Code amendment to the Home Depot Specific Plan to amend the definition of “net acreage” to specify that detention basins and wetlands rather than significant wetlands are excluded from net acreage; and receive a report and conduct a hearing on possible options for a local ordinance that regulates the size of single-family homes to make them more consistent with existing neighborhoods, similar to the ordinances adopted by Los Angeles and Solana Beach.

ESCONDIDO

The Escondido City Council will meet at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Council Chambers, 201 N. Broadway. Agenda items include: consider approval of the acceptance of $30,000 from the California State Library Broadband Grant Program to the Escondido Public Library; and a report on the Safari Highlands project and consider direction on staff’s recommendation on other potential properties in the vicinity of the city for evaluating in the citywide sphere of influence update.

OCEANSIDE

The Oceanside City Council will hold a workshop at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Council Chambers, 300 N. Coast Highway. Agenda items include: Beach restrooms and Operations Facility Project; and Tyson Street Park Restroom Project.

POWAY

The Poway City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 1 at Council Chambers, 13325 Civic Center Drive.

SAN MARCOS

The San Marcos City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at Council Chambers, 1 Civic Center Drive.

SOLANA BEACH

The Solana Beach City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Council Chambers, 635 S. Highway 101. Agenda items include: consider approval of the appointment of Mo Sammak to the Oversight Board for the Successor Agency to the former Solana Beach Redevelopment Agency; consider of an application for $100,000 in funding to the county Neighborhood Reinvestment Program for the La Colonia Park Veterans’ Honor Courtyard; consider approval of a conditional use permit for Solana Beach and Tennis Club for the maintenance and repair of five existing concrete infills and a 75-foot clay seam notch infill at the base of the lower coastal bluff below 447 S. Sierra Ave.; conduct a hearing on and consider approval of a conditional use permit for Carruth Cellars to allow for on- and off-site alcohol sales at 118 S. Cedros Ave.; discussion of the staff analysis and status intention for the Public Safety Commission; consider adoption of a resolution urging the state to provide new sustainable funding for state and local transportation; consider introduction of an ordinance to amend the municipal code to clarify projects that must meet the city’s waste diversion requirements; consider introduction of an ordinance to add to the municipal code to provide an expedited, streamlined permitting process for small residential rooftop solar systems; and consider an appointment to fill the vacant position on the Parks and Recreation Commission.

VISTA

The Vista City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Council Chambers, 200 Civic Center Drive. Agenda items include: consider approval of an application for grant funds for the California Cultural and Historical Endowment’s Museum Grant Program; consider approval of a resolution amending fine amounts for the parking violations and penalty schedule; discussion on a ban on retail pet stores and provide direction to staff; and discussion on recognition protocol and provide direction to staff on issuing formal letters of appreciation and proclamations.

SCHOOL DISTRICTS

BONSALL

The Bonsall Unified School District board will meeting at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Bonsall Community Center, 31505 Old River Road.

CARDIFF

The Cardiff School District board will meet at 5 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Cardiff School Library, 1888 Montgomery Ave.

CARLSBAD

The Carlsbad Unified School District board will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 9 at the district office, 6225 El Camino Real.

DEL MAR

The Del Mar Union School District board will meet at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday at Del Mar Hills Academy, 14085 Mango Drive. Agenda items include: consider approval of a revised job description for the position of Early Childhood Site Supervisor; consider approval of a revised job description for the position of School Administrative Assistant; a curriculum and instruction update, including information about materials, professional learning and content areas of focus for the 2015-16 school year; a report on STEAM+ learning; a report from the superintendent on goals and the Strategic Plan for 2015-16; a report on Facilities Master Plan Summer 2015 projects; a report on the district’s Facilities Master Plan and potential funding sources; a staffing/enrollment update from Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Jason Romero; consider approval of a revised job description for the position of Administrative Assistant, Technology; consider approval of a revised job description and salary for the position of Director of Maintenance, Operations and Facilities; and consider approval of a new job description for the position of Assistant Principal without Administrative Credential.

ENCINITAS

The Encinitas Union School District board will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the district office, 101 S. Rancho Santa Fe Road.

ESCONDIDO

The Escondido Union School District board will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at the district office, 2310 Aldergrove Ave.

The Escondido Union High School District board will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at the district office, 302 N. Midway Drive.

FALLBROOK

The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District board will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Frazier School, 1835 Gum Tree Lane.

The Fallbook Union High School District board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Fallbrook High School, Room 201, 2400 S. Stagecoach Lane. Agenda items include: presentation from migrant education students; information on revisions to the Interdistrict Permit Policy; and a presentation on the Smarter Balanced assessments results.

OCEANSIDE

The Oceanside Unified School District board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the district office, 2111 Mission Ave. Agenda items include: consider acceptance of a two-year subsidized grant with Grow Your Own! from the Ecology Center for Palmquist Elementary School; consider ratification of an agreement with the San Diego County Superintendent of Schools for p articipation in San Diego County Career Technical Education; consider ratification of a memorandum of understanding with San Marcos Unified School District for participation in the SMUSD Science-Engineering-Technology Program; consider approval of a contract with School Services of California to provide ongoing information on school finance, legislation, budgeting and general fiscal issues throughout the year; consider ratification of a contract with Davis Demographics & Planning for 2015-16; consider adoption of a resolution authorizing the issuance and sale of not to exceed $60 million aggregate principal amount of the district’s 2015 general obligation refunding bonds; consider approval of the list of eight contractors who met the requirements to pre-qualify to bid on the Performing Arts Center project at Oceanside High School; consider approval of a contract with Nixon Peabody LLP for bond counsel services; consider approval of an greement with Educational Achievement Services and retired Army Lt. Col. Consuelo Kickbusch to provide the Family Leadership Institute Program; and consider ratification of an agreement with Social Communication Specialists.

POWAY

The Poway Unified School District will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the district office, 15250 Avenue of Science, San Diego. Agenda items include: consider board member appointments to the Budget Review Advisory Committee; consider authorization to enter into a Power Efficiency Agreement with Green Charge Networks for an Energy Cost Savings Program at 12 school sites and the district office; conduct a first reading of the proposed 2015-2016 Budget Act for Professional Development for Administrators and Teachers, Referred to as the Educator Effectiveness Program Funds; and an update on the Stone Ranch Project.

RAMONA

The Ramona Unified School District board will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at the district office, 720 Ninth St.

SAN DIEGUITO

The San Dieguito Union High School District board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3 at the district office, 710 Encinitas Blvd.

SAN MARCOS

The San Marcos Unified School District board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 15 at the district office, 255 Pico Ave.

SAN PASQUAL

The San Pasqual Union School District board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 8 in Trussell Hall, 15305 Rockwood Road.

SOLANA BEACH

The Solana Beach Union School District board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at the district office, 309 N. Rios Ave.

VALLEY CENTER-PAUMA UNIFIED

The Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District board will meet 6 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Valley Center High School Media Center, 31322 Cole Grade Road.

VISTA

The Vista Unified School District board will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Temple Heights Elementary School, 1550 Temple Heights Drive, Oceanside. Agenda items include: presentation on the Student Services 2015 Data Trend Report; a staff report on Career Technical Education; staff report on Charter School Update; and consider approval of budget revisions based on the state adopted budget.
