Disclosure announces 2015 fall concert tour
Disclosure, the swiftly rising U.K. electronic music duo that introduced multiple Grammy Award-winning singer Sam Smith to the world, has announced its 2015 North American tour.
The 14-city trek coincides with the release of Disclosure’s second album, “Caracal,” which drops Sept. 25 and features vocals by Sam Smith (who performs next Tuesday at San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center), Lorde, Miguel and 2015 Grammy Award-winner Gregory Porter, who honed his jazz chops while attending SDSU. (The full list of songs and guest artists on the album appears below.)
Alas, Disclosure will be skipping San Diego in favor of a previously announced Sept. 29 date at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena. In 2013, the duo performed at San Diego’s House of Blue and W Hotel. Since then, their career has ignited, thanks to a dance-friendly sound that has crossed over to pop audiences in a major way. The duo teams brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, who are 24 and 21, respectively.
Advance tickets for the tour go on sale today for American Express Card Members at 10 a.m. today, local time, for some of the tour dates. The general ticket on-sale begins Friday at 10am local time. Tickets can be purchased via Disclosure’s website.
