Photos of airplane ‘passenger shaming’ really taking off

Share

Move over, People of Walmart.

There’s a new social media trend and it’s coming for you, you rude airline travelers.

(And you know who you are.)

It’s called “passenger shaming,” and that means that the next time you fall asleep with your hand in your pants, are filing your toe nails or using your tray table as a footrest while on an airplane, chances are a photo of you, in all your glory, will end up on the Internet.

Without further ado, here for your perusal, are just some of those caught in the act of bad behavior. You can find more on Facebook and Instagram.

Agony of air travel

Oh boy.

I am never going to look at the tray table the same way again.
Bare feet in weird places are definitely an issue.
Oh, this is just plain bad.
What the heck?
Then there are the slobs.
And the hairy.
And the humanity. Oh the humanity.
And boom, just like that a new Internet trend is born. And where better to talk about it than on Twitter. Newsroom shaming? Never!

If you catch someone in the act of an airline atrocity you can send your photos to PassengerShaming@gmail.com.
