Electricity returned shortly after the evacuation order but Estrada said the "sporadic" availability of power to the park's 60 rides and attractions necessitated the park's closure.
"We're keeping in touch with the Carlsbad Fire Department to know about the safety of our guests and make sure they don't need extra power for the park to fight the fires nearby," Estrada said.
The nearby Sealife Aquarium and Legoland Hotel were not closed.
Estrada said updates on the park will be posted at Legoland's Facebook page.
