You'll want to keep the sun block handy. This warm spell is going to last until at least Tuesday.

Daytime highs at the coast will flicker between 79 and 83 degrees while inland areas hover between 94 and somewhere close to 100. The wildfire danger in East County is high, and there's no relief in sight. The average monthly high at San Diego's Lindbergh Field has been above average every month since November 2013. July will end up the same way. The average monthly high is running 3.4 degrees above normal.

Solspot.com says the surf will be in the 2' to 3' range at most spots through the weekend. Sea surface temperatures are in the 68-71 degree range.
