All three had pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and gang allegations, said Deputy District Attorney Cal Logan.

Five men in all were charged in the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Javier Luna. Authorities said the attack happened Jan. 29, 2013, at Center Avenue and Division Street in Oceanside’s Crown Heights area, in retaliation for graffiti left in a rival gang neighborhood.

Javier’s family said he was not in a gang, although a witness testified he was.

Earlier this month, Juan Zurita, 19, who was seen by the witness holding a bloody knife, was sentenced to 22 years in prison, while Francisco Barajas, 22, got 21 years.
