Spring weather to stay mild
Staying mild
This week’s weather will fluctuate, starting off warmer than normal then cooling down as a low pressure system passes to the north, says the National Weather Service. There’s no significant rain in the forecast.
Monday’s daytime high will hit 72 in San Diego, four degrees above normal. And such inland spots as Ramona and Escondido will reach 85. But then temperatures settle into a seasonal range for the rest of the week. San Diego will be in upper 60s and inland canyons and foothills will by mostly in the 70s. The marine layer will be spotty, thick in some places, light in others.
SEA SIDE: Solspot.com says waves will be in the 3’ to 4’ range on Monday in South County and slightly small in North County. Sea surface temps: 62-64 degrees.
PRECIP: Current seasonal rainfall shortages: Oceanside, 8.80’’; Ramona, 7.77’’; San Diego’s Lindbergh Field, 5.06’’.
