Faulconer hosting Wednesday forum
San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, who was elected in February, has scheduled a third “meet the mayor” forum at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Linda Vista.
Faulconer will speak about his vision for the city and then listen to concerns and answer questions from residents. The forum aims to engage residents of City Council District 7, which includes Allied Gardens, Linda Vista, Mission Valley, Serra Mesa, Tierrasanta, Mission Trails, Grantville, Del Cerro, Navajo and San Carlos.
The forum, which is free and open to the public, will take place at the Bayside Community Center, 2202 Comstock St.
The mayor plans to host at least one “meet the mayor” event in each City Council district in coming months. Faulconer visited District 6 on March 20 and District 5 on April 9.
